This communication is in reference to the continued inflationary pressures and logistic challenges we are all facing together recently.
First, however: please let us say thank you for your continued support and partnership for Goldstar promotional products and services. It is exciting to see so much business recovery in the European Markets especially as in person meetings and live events return and we wish all of you continued success!


The current business recovery is bringing new challenges primarily in supply chain, transportation logistics, delays, and pricing challenges along with Staffing/training and currency exchange rate pressures. Goldstar has reacted continuously by hiring/training aggressively, working with our suppliers and transportation contracts, and investing in deep inventory levels of top sellers. We also have short- and long-term efforts underway to increase communication and transparency in our stock levels and order status through workflow changes and investment in technology. Still, we ask for your patience during this time with our teams and responsiveness as we continue to hire, train and work long hours focused on our service excellence goals.


Here are some key points regarding pricing:

  • Is Goldstar making Price increases? Yes, despite our efforts to maintain consistency in our pricing programs, we will need to adjust our pricing effective July 1, 2022.  Our intent and hope is these actions will allow us to offer pricing stability into 2023, but we will monitor and communicate changes on a quarterly basis or as needed. Our website simplygoldstar.com will have the most current pricing and we will work to update all key partner programs before July 1.
  • What about the Temporary Transportation Surcharge? Goldstar will maintain a 3% temporary Transportation surcharge and review on a quarterly basis. This allows us to keep this these fuel surcharges separate and remove them at a later date.
  • What about the Goldstar Simplicity All-Inclusive pricing program? We remain committed to Simplicity, including Set Up, Decoration and Std. Shipping in ONE SIMPLE PRICE on all bulk Writing Instrument orders.

Please note, beginning in August you can check www.simplygoldstar.com/eu for general inventory levels or log in to your distributor account for specific inventory by product/colour.
